We have another one of these little goodies coming our way!! I wanted to announce it exactly two years after I announced I was pregnant with Darcy which would have been the 21st of this month. I don't know what happened, but somehow I got distracted and now it's five days later. I think I am around 13 weeks along at this point, but I haven't been to the doctor yet. They couldn't get me in until February 1st. If I'm guessing right this baby will be born almost exactly two years after Darcy.
This was a little bit of a surprise for us, and I didn't think I was ready to be sick again (because honestly, being sick it the worst), but now that I am starting to move out of the sick stage I am getting really excited! I am so excited to hold a new baby again and for Darcy to have a brother or sister to play with. (No more assuming I'm just having boys.) We have absolutely LOVED watching Darcy grow up and develop her own funny little personality. I am really excited to have another unique little baby personality around to add to our mix.
YAY for babies!

Goose Egg & A Little Cheek
You know when you hit your head and you get a big bump on your head? My family calls that a goose egg. Has anyone else ever heard of that? I am discovering all sorts of things my family says that no one else in the world says.
Anyway...the other day Darcy tripped on the little edge from the kitchen floor to the carpet and fell straight into the hard metal edge of the coffee table. She had the biggest "goose egg" on her head that I have ever seen. It really freaked me out. I was worried she had a concussion. It seemed like her eyes weren't dilating right. We were probably stupid not to, but we didn't take her to the doctor and she seemed to recover just fine, thankfully! It's about a week later now and she still has a little ridge on her forehead and a bruise. I tried to get a good picture of it, but it didn't really work. These are the best I got. This is right after it happened.
Is it ok to post pictures like this of your kids? :) I just couldn't help it because it cracks me up so much! She kept pulling her own diaper up until it was like this. Silly girl!
